We've all made mistakes. We've all hurt people before. But, for some of us, we just can't shake the sense that we still have debts to be paid—somewhere in the world. The problem is, even if we can find out who we've hurt, stolen from or betrayed, there's rarely a way to truly pay back what our actions of caused them. So, are we destined to carry this guilt around with us forever? Time hasn't healed the wounds completely. Are we destined to have that small ping of shame every time we see them or enter a new relationship? Will we ever feel completely free and clear?
