EXECUTIVE PASTOR 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

  • Full time executive level role for a strong, gifted leader, who leads from a passionate, relational heart. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with a savvy business and strategic mind, balancing an eye for details with the capacity to see the big picture. With key Spiritual Gifts of Leadership and Administration this individual will serve alongside our Senior Pastor, and Executive Team working together to set, drive, and implement the strategic vision for Radius.  

REPORTS TO: 

  • Lead Pastor

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee the general administration of the church.

  • Support the Senior Pastor in the accomplishment of the church’s mission through Ministry effectiveness evaluation, discernment, decision making, planning and overall direction of church staff.

  • Build a solid staff through development of policies and procedures, overseeing development of job descriptions; participating in hiring of directors, proposing appropriate staff adjustments, & resolving conflicts.

  • Participate in leading the ministry staff in the establishment and ongoing direction of ministries that effectively reach the church’s demographic, insuring the accomplishment of the overall mission.

  • Ensure the operational readiness of the church through leadership and oversight of the support staff performing duties in administration, finance, human resources, supply, and facilities management.

  • Facilitate the annual strategic planning process including evaluation of ministry performance; review of mission, vision, and core values; development of key objectives and tactics; and establishment of goals.

  • Establish and maintain a set of key performance indices (KPIs) that provide the Senior Pastor and church staff with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of all functional areas of the church.

  • Develop annual financial / budget plans that fund the accomplishment of the strategic plan and meet critical financial objectives.

  • Champion the development of infrastructure by all ministry and support areas that supports healthy, long-term growth of the church.

  • Lead the church’s building programs including capital fund raising campaigns, master planning, design and architecture, contractor selection, and construction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of seven years of business / management experience.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Must have a proven track record of effective leadership and judgment. 

  • Demonstrates wisdom in decisions, actions & recommendations.

  • Evaluates decisions/actions by their overall impact and long-term implications

  • Team developer. 

  • Experience overseeing a significant budget. 

  • Motivates and aligns staff towards specific vision/direction.  

  • Heavy computer user with strong experience in all major business suite software products. 

  • Previous church leadership is not a requirement.

  • An obvious, active and growing relationship with Jesus

  • Enthusiasm for the mission, vision and values of Radius

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent technical and computer acumen

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time excellently under pressure

illume youth director

THE POINT: To lead our next generation alongside the Kids and Youth Director. Oversees the Youth’s Sunday morning experience, outside-of-Sunday events, outreach, and community involvement. Fosters personal connections with the students, their families, and other leaders in Illume.

 REPORTS TO: Kids and Youth Director

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop curriculum plans for Middle School AND High School students (6th-12th grade)

  • Lead the direction of the ministry, bring forth creative ideas, and help guide the students and leader.

  • Lead, organize, and implement Sunday mornings – lessons, games, worship, small groups, etc.

  • Event planning with the unchurched and unreached in mind

  • Managing and resolving conflict

  • Organizational skills

  • Collaborating with the Kids and Youth Director on creating unified events and experiences

  • Finding ways to make the experience and environment better

  • Leading collaboration meetings, brainstorming sessions, outreach projects, events, and school partnerships

  • Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer small group leaders

  • Maintain open communication with parents

  • Plan and organize frequent bonding activities

  • Facilitate school-church partnerships to reach new, unchurched families 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An obvious, active and growing relationship with Jesus

  • Enthusiasm for the mission, vision and values of Radius

  • A strong background in youth/families

  • A current leader or volunteer in Radius is preferred

  • A deep desire and clear ability to coach leaders to provide pastoral care

  • Prior pastoral care training and experience is preferred but not required

  • Ability to personally execute and stimulate excellent output through a team of volunteer leaders

  • Must be present for the youth and their families

  • Public communication skills for the purposes of training, leading teams, and leading the youth

 Worship coordinator

THE POINT:  Design, implement, maintain and manage the ministry systems and volunteers needed to execute the Radius worship ministry.

REPORTS TO: Creative Director  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion Radius’ worship DNA and grow the worship experience

  • Explore and implement cutting-edge worship applications

  • Recruit, audition, develop and schedule worship team members

  • Coordinate corporate worship rehearsals and worship team practices

  • Develop team leaders in all areas of worship ministry

  • Develop an intentional strategy for encouraging spiritual growth through Radius’ corporate worship

  • Maintain and track all music related licenses, fees, and memberships for the church

  • Collaborate with the Business Manager to create and follow an annual Worship Administration budget

Circles Director


THE POINT: 
With a focus on discipleship, this position will actively train, support and enable leaders to facilitate and disciple their respective Small Group, Starting Point class, Women’s or Men’s Ministry, collectively referred to as “Circles”.

REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide the overall strategy for each of the Circles ministries on a consistent basis 

  • Identify, connect, develop and train persons called to be Circles leaders

  • Actively and effectively coach Circles leaders to provide pastoral care to the body

  • Organize and support leaders for accountable spiritual growth

  • Identify and update materials and curriculum for each of the Circles groups

  • Develop and administrate new discipleship programs added to the Circles family

  • Work with the Communications Director to promote Circles via Sunday morning announcements, the Radius Website and the Radius Mobile App

  • Collaborate with the Business Manager to create and follow an annual Circles budget

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An obvious, active and growing relationship with Jesus
